ROBOT Organic Honey Cola Kombucha has been brewed from an ancient kombucha recipe, which uses a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast) which Pascal says they cultivated themselves.
“Kombucha is an ancient Oriental tea recipe, dating back more than 2000 years
to ancient China or Japan.
Back then, people had to use fermentation to preserve food and drink, and to provide good health – Kombucha was used as a medicinal tincture, to ward off infections and poor health – but it production is a result of a totally natural process, used in the preserving of food and drink.
In recent years, our diets have struggled to cope with the ever increasing and more processed foods we consume, with refined sugar appearing more and more in every day foods – which together destroys our gut health and makes us put on weight – so fermented Kombucha is really important for our gut health, as well as lowering our glycemic load – and we only need a small amount of honey and probiotic kombucha to achieve the perfect taste – ROBOT has almost 90% less sugar than regular colas, and it also helps to restore some of that damaged gut microbiome.”
“There are SCOBY’s available to buy from specialists who cultivate kombuchas – these are the cultures of bacteria which causes the base tea to ferment, but we found the only one which gave us the flavour we wanted, and seemed to work best with our organic honey, was a kombucha we brewed ourselves. It takes more than 6 weeks to brew, and it’s packed with goodness. So we only need a small amount to bring the goodness into our Organic Cola.”

“Given that we consulted with Ai Robotic artificial intelligence to ask several questions about healthy diets, sustainability, gut health, climate change and drinks, it gave us some very interesting answers, some of which we worked on to develop the concept for ROBOT Kombucha – we also asked Ai to help design the packaging, and so it seemed only right to develop the brand, and call it ROBOT..
